Start with what matters
Bring your household’s preferences, serving amounts, disliked ingredients and available cooking time. Tell your assistant which nights need a quick dinner, when someone else is cooking, and whether guests are joining.
A week built around your household
Keep Wednesday easy. Make room for a favorite dinner. Plan something special for Saturday. Brie brings your trusted recipes, household preferences, shared meal calendar and grocery list into one weekly loop.
From ideas to dinner
Bring your household’s preferences, serving amounts, disliked ingredients and available cooking time. Tell your assistant which nights need a quick dinner, when someone else is cooking, and whether guests are joining.
Use saved family favorites and recipes from the creators you love. Create a new recipe with your assistant when you need something different, review it, and save it before adding it to a plan. Imported recipes keep their sources.
See the dates, dishes and portions before a proposal becomes the shared week. Approved meals feed the household grocery list, so the plan follows you from the conversation to the store.
Shared at home
A meal plan is useful when the household can follow it. Brie keeps the week and grocery list shared, so a partner can see Wednesday’s dinner and the ingredients it needs. A changed schedule can become a reviewed plan change.
Choosing your planning tools? Compare the best meal planning apps and shared grocery list apps by the way they connect recipes, portions, and shopping.
Plan a main with a side, or build a dinner party menu with several courses. Check each dish’s serving amount rather than assuming everyone needs the same portion of every course.
Food preferences help guide choices. Check source ingredients and labels when allergies matter; a generated suggestion is not an allergen safety check.

Approved testers can use the MCP planning preview. A connected assistant reads the household’s preferences and week, chooses saved recipes, prepares a proposal, and saves it after your review. Setup and account requirements are on the agent connection page. The native full-week conversational workflow is in development.
The public ChatGPT plugin submission was in review at the September 29 status check. A public directory listing is not confirmed. MCP testing and public ChatGPT approval are separate availability steps.
Look for saved recipes with sources, portions you can review, a shared calendar, groceries derived from the agreed plan, and a way to change the week. Our best recipe apps guide explains how to compare that workflow.
